To mark the publication of our first book "Til Kaffeslabberas" you are cordially invited to our reception Thursday 25th of August from 15-18 at Designmuseum Danmark (formerly Kunstindustrimuseet), Bredgade 68, 1260 Copenhagen K.
The book is the joint effort of seven knitting ladies from the society Kaffeslabberas* and seven Danish artists and designers, who in collaboration have created some utterly unique pieces of art.
The participating artists are: Cathrine Raben Davidsen, Henrik Vibskov, HuskMitNavn, Kasper Eistrup, Mads Nørgaard, Stine Maria Aalykke and Vildbøl de Arce.
The artworks from the book and chosen sketches from the artist will be sold at a charity auction at the reception at 16:30 in cooperation with Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers. The money collected from the auction will go towards trips and activities for all the senior citizens connected with the knitting ladies' senior centre Sløjfen.
Also, at the reception will be the premier screening of seven atmospheric short films created by Robert Lund of Bemerk documenting the initial meetings between artists and knitting ladies.
To honour the occasion Conditori La Glace will be serving special Kaffeslabbers cakes and Riccos will be offering coffee with cream.
