THE 2011 TORSTEN AND WANJA SöDERBERG PRIZE

Last thursday Henrik Vibskov received the 2011 Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize.

The Röhsska Museum prize committee for the Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize, with funds from Torsten and Ragnar Söderberg Foundations, has unanimously decided to award Henrik Vibskov this year.

The prize committee’s comments:
“Henrik Vibskov of Denmark receives the 2011 Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize. He has long been delivering fashion design of good function for a demanding young target group, and creating design for industrial production for an international market.
With his fashion shows and free projects, Henrik Vibskov is an important avant-gardist in the fashion industry. With elements such as music, installations and performance, he creates with great artistic confidence.
Vibskov is primarily a men’s fashion designer, but also creates innovative women’s fashions along with collections of practical, fashionable accessories.
He is regularly invited to lecture and serve on the judging panel at several institutions across Europe.”

We are very honered and grateful! Thanks to the 2011 Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize.
