Back in 1893, when the original Hammerthor quality was established, following the latest fashion was not so crucial. In those days, customers were more concerned with quality.As clothes were expected to last for many years, it was important that they were durable and practical. These basic principles are what they still live up to at Hammerthor.
Over the last twenty or so years, Rei Kawakubo and her Comme des Garçons label have been responsible for designing some of the most wildly creative clothes in fashion history. Now however, it's back to basics for a collaboration of underthings with the century-old Danish clothier Hammerthor.
