A COFFEE WITH HENRIK VIBSKOV ON 12HRS.NET

Henrik Vibskov, fashion designer from Copenhagen and prolific artist, has just opened Den Plettede Gris ('The Spotted Pig') in his hometown. The small café looks exactly like his beloved designs, with lots of colors, lines at weird angles and elaborate wood constructions on the walls. The menu is straightforward. Den Plettede Gris serves just coffee, soda, wine and beer, and the only available food item on the menu is ice cream. It's located right next to Vibskov's workshop, a bit off the city center on Papirøen (Paper island), a part of Christianshavn right behind Christiana.

INTRODUCING: THE GOURMAND MAGAZINE

The Gourmand Issue 02 is now available in CPH.

A Gourmand is a person who takes pleasure and interest in food of all kinds and The Gourmand is a new food and culture journal that binds inspirational words, images and ideas with the humble and universal subject of food.

Based in London, The Gourmand is inspired not only by a true passion for food and dining but by the exciting influx of new restaurants, bars, cafe’s, stalls and ingredients that are increasingly available to us. The Gourmand was born as a means to share this exciting cultural shift and to celebrate food as a catalyst for creativity.

The creation of The Gourmand is a testament to the communicative power of food, and its inherent relationship with the arts.
