اين
آجر از خاک رس و ماسه به همراه برخي افزودني‌ها ساخته مي‌شود و سپس در کوره‌هاي مخصوص پخته مي‌شود تا مقاومت و سختي لازم را کسب کند.
کاربردهاي آجر لفتون:
ديوارچيني: آجر لفتون به دليل استحکام بالا و مقاومت در برابر فشار، براي ساخت ديوارهاي باربر و غيرباربر مناسب است.
پوشش ديوارهاي داخلي و خارجي: اين آجر به دليل ظاهر زيبا و منظم خود، براي نماسازي و پوشش ديوارهاي داخلي و خارجي ساختمان‌ها مورد استفاده قرار مي‌گيرد.
سازه‌هاي صنعتي و تجاري: از آجر لفتون در ساخت سازه‌هاي صنعتي و تجاري به دليل مقاومت بالا در برابر ضربه و حرارت استفاده مي‌شود.
کف‌سازي و پي‌سازي: اين آجر به دليل مقاومت در برابر فشار و خوردگي، در کف‌سازي و پي‌سازي نيز کاربرد دارد.
مزاياي آجر لفتون:
مقاومت بالا: آجر لفتون داراي مقاومت فشاري بالا است که آن را براي استفاده در ديوارهاي باربر مناسب مي‌سازد.
عايق حرارتي و صوتي: به دليل ساختار خاص و مواد مورد استفاده در توليد، آجر لفتون به عنوان عايق حرارتي و صوتي عمل مي‌کند.
مقاومت در برابر رطوبت و خوردگي: اين آجر به دليل پخت در دماي بالا و استفاده از مواد مناسب، مقاومت خوبي در برابر رطوبت و عوامل خوردگي دارد.
دوام و عمر طولاني: به دليل مقاومت بالا و مواد با کيفيت، آجر لفتون داراي عمر طولاني و دوام بالا است.
ظاهر زيبا: اين آجر به دليل شکل و رنگ متنوع، قابليت ايجاد نماهاي زيبا و متنوع را دارد.
نکات قابل توجه:
وزن: آجر لفتون نسبت به برخي از انواع ديگر آجر سنگين‌تر است و بايد در نظر داشت که در پروژه‌هايي که نياز به کاهش وزن کلي
