THE COPENHAGEN LAUNCH - OF A PERFUME SERIES FROM HENRIK VIBSKOV

Join us Thursday November 19th at the CPH Boutique to celebrate the launch of Henrik Vibskov's newest fragrance series.

From fashion designer Henrik Vibskov comes a new fragrance duo. As inspired by the elegant natural landscapes of Asia; Cedar Root Black and Lotus Dust Red tease their audience with hints of citrus pine-forest floors and dusty red lotus fields. Not only pleasing to the sense of scent but the duo are also aesthetically stimulating with their hand-carved, hand-painted wooden lids and beautiful boxes of pine.

 
Lotus Dust RED presents a warm heart of lotus root and sandalwood musk. Top notes include mandarin, canola oil and Russian Earl Grey Tea whilst base notes hint at subtle orange blossom florals and musky birch. 





Cedar Root BLACK on the contrary is a spritely fragrance pairing a zesty harmony of citrus and dusty wood pine. Top notes unearth gin, almond and leather whilst flirting with playful hints of fizzy jasmine, black pepper and ink.

Explore Shop Girl Dasha’s inspirational style.

Henrik Vibskov’s boutiques in Copenhagen and NYC are a kaleidoscopic explosion of creative freedom. The only places in the world you can view Henrik’s unedited, eye-catching collections in full, they also boast directional designs from brands such as Yang Li and Walter Van Beirendonck. As part of ‘Team Vibs’, Moscow born Dasha’s creative energy is palpable when she works the shop floor in Henrik’s NYC store. We asked her to share her style tips for AW14 and, luckily for us, Henrik himself was in town too…

Dasha’s style in three words:
‘Expressive, Individual, Creative’

Her favourite designers:
Henrik Vibskov, Asger Juel Larsen, Barbara I Gongini, MM6 by Maison Martin Margiela  

Dasha’s style icon:
‘I admire Henrik Vibskov because his vision goes far beyond just style. He is a style icon for sure, but also an amazing artist and musician. Henrik’s collection has many different and unique influences, so every piece in the collection feels very fresh and like an individual art piece.’ 

Her daily routine:
‘We have a lot of events in the shop, so I am often helping prepare for them, setting up new displays and greeting guests. Every week a photographer or two stops by and we shoot “looks of the day” wearing fun clothes.’

Dasha’s inspirations:‘Almost every client that comes into the shop is working on something extraordinary. We have artists, musicians, and dancers that are very inspiring and it is really fun to help style their wardrobes. Being a part of the Henrik Vibskov “Team Vibs” is so exciting. Everyday we are surrounded by amazing art installations and gorgeous avant-garde clothing.’

Her love for the store’s Soho location:‘We are surrounded by other cool stores and galleries. In my hometown of Moscow, stores are very much spread out, so it’s nice to have so many amazing things in one place. Often there is a fashion photography shoot, or a movie filming on the street outside, so we are able to meet movie stars, which is an added bonus!’
