In store: Bernhard Willhelm AW10.

Bernhard Willhelm says to Dazed Digital:
"I wanted to do something based on kimono fabrics, kimono cuts and Japanese calligraphy and we used many Japanese girls. I think our biggest fanclub is in Japan. For me, Japan is the most exotic place because I don't understand a word. This is for me very exotic - something I don't know.
There was a lot of kimono shapes we used, but cut in my way of cutting. For the fabrics, some of it is Japanese silks or cottons. We used tie dye. So I tried to adapt Japanese culture and techniques into the collection and make it into something absurd and ridiculous."

Read the rest of the interview here.

We also want to congratulate Bernhard Willhelm and Jutta Kraus with a brand new and wonderful digital space, see more from the collections, exhibitions, archives and more at

Thank You ALL for your help and support!
Without you guys we could not have made it.

In store: Reality Studio AW10 "Cosmic Camouflage"

AW10/11 Collection `COSMIC CAMOUFLAGE´

The clothing we use to swaddle and encase our bodies is our way of coping with the reality we inhabit. Shield and weapon in one. What we wear creates a relationship between the self and the collective existence; it provides a camouflage. A secret place for our self-denominated alien-like features. If a fashion piece could simultaneously blend in and make a statement, this would be it.

An interplay between self-perception and self-projection, culminating in comfortable, wearable harmony.

Who – Svenja Specht, creator of Reality Studio (Berlin), since 2005. Fashion and product designer with previous stints in Paris, Cologne and Beijing.

What – Women’s wear. Ever-present jumpsuits and wraps in colourful concoctions of silk, knits and wool. The collection springs from the collaborative fabric print -Cosmic Camouflage- by painter Michael Kalki (www.michaelkalki.de).

Why – Because there’s an alien in all of us, and she loves to play dress-up.

Get ready for winter with Hammerthor x Comme des Garçons

Hammerthor x Comme des Garçons are back by popular demand.

Back in 1893, when the original Hammerthor quality was established, following the latest fashion was not so crucial. In those days, customers were more concerned with quality. As clothes were expected to last for many years, it was important that they were durable and practical. These basic principles are what they still live up to at Hammerthor.

Over the last twenty or so years, Rei Kawakubo and her Comme des Garçons label have been responsible for designing some of the most wildly creative clothes in fashion history. Now however, it's back to basics for a collaboration of underthings with the century-old Danish clothier Hammerthor. The Comme des Garçons SHIRT line shows a collection of briefs, tanks, and T-shirts in signature logo prints and polka dots—or classic gray, navy, black and white.

Peter Jensen AW10, arrived in the Oslo store.

Peter Jensen Mensline is this fall presented in Oslo as the first shop in Norway. The collection called "Muriel" is inspired by Muriel Spark. She was the author of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and Maggie Smith's performance in the movie version, as the schoolteacher molding impressionable young minds in Edinburgh, Scotland (it won her an Oscar), is the quintessence of a subspecies of crisp, schoolmarm drag. Against a painted backdrop of Jean Brodie's classroom, Jensen paraded his own version of the Brodie gals—part woman, part Lolita minx.

New issue of Cover magazine, first in Norway!

T
HIS IS HOW WE WALK ON THE MOON!
