NEXT STOP NEW YORK - HENRIK VIBSKOV IS OPENING UP A NEW YORK SOHO BOUTIQUE IN APRIL 2011
So, finally it worked out. We've been looking up and down the streets of Nolita, the Lower East side, NoHo, Soho, Tribeca, and finally, finally, we found this perfect little pearl of a shop. Directly opposite our favorite deli, Gourmet Garage, in SoHo. 456 Broome Street is where you'll find the new Henrik Vibskov boutique. It's cosy, as we often say in Denmark. I guess it's a fairly classic SoHo house. An 850 square foot space (like 80m2 i guess) with high ceilings and a mezzanine. Alongside our own collection will be some of our favourite designers, some of whom we are stocking in our Copenhagen and Oslo stores. We can't wait to open!
While writing this, a 20 foot container is heading out of Copenhagen harbour. Next stop, New York! It's loaded with our Spring/Summer collection and the interiors for the shop, which is a mix of old danish funiture and industrial materials which we will reconstruct and make in to a store.
Lets hope it works..
We'll be back with a more precise date for our store opening soon...

OPENING: ANDREAS EMENIUS - PULL ME APART, TEAR ME BACK TOGETHER
Our friend Andreas Emenius is showing his second solo-exihibition this Friday at WAS-Wonderland Art Space.
With the exihibition Pull Me Apart, Tear Me Back Together Andreas Emenius explores mankind’s longing for simplicity and subsequent attempt to make order out of chaos.
Andreas Emenius takes an interest in the mental stage between human destruction and reconstruction. Through paintings and drawings, Emenius visualizes a skeptical approach to our definition of existence. Focusing on a obsessive-compulsive behavior, based on the idea that everything can be organized, categorized and made comprehensible through systems, 'Pull Me Apart, Tear Me Back Together' illuminates moments of silent madness in everyday life.

Murmuring and flowing water, waves and plants, wind, structures of rocks and haptics of sand, shapes of mussels and corals - and all the multiple scents and smells. Contemplation, emotional and sensual experiences constitute the line. Behind this is our wish to touch on the subject of how important the relation and behaviour towards nature, food and "living together" is.
Colours like sky- oceanblue, coconut white, reed and kiwi green, coral and watermelon red, orange, citron yellow go along with natural, soft , fluent and transparent, so as pure , rigid and clear materials. The Shapes show movement and waves combined with contrasting straight and clear forms.

Female or Male Sales Assistant needed for our Oslo Boutique.
Full time.
Applicant must be professional, honest, committed and dedicated, motivated, organised, reliable and have the ability to use own initiative.
Applicant should speak fluent Norwegian and have high English speaking skills.
Prior customer service experience is required.
Education within Fashion Design is an advantage.
Start Day : 1st April 2011 or earlier.
