The 15th issue of FANTASTIC MAN just arrived the Copenhagen Boutique. The issue features MATTHEW SLOTOVER, mastermind behind the FRIEZE art and magazine empire, on the cover.

The charming Mr. SLOTOVER discusses the transformation of London’s contemporary art market, how music magazine NME was his bible growing up and, of course, the highly anticipated FRIEZE NEW YORK fair in May. Other remarkable gentleman profiled in this issue include: heroic Australian swimmer IAN THORPE, radical garden designer PIET OUDOLF, internet pioneer PERRY CHEN, champion of fashion TIM BLANKS and the great American menswear designer BILL ROBINSON.

IMPRESSIONS FROM PARIS WOMEN'S FASHION WEEK AW12 - PART 1

Follow the impressions of the Henrik Vibskov Boutique' buying team during the recent Paris Women's Fashion Week AW12. First stop on our tour was the Chalayan Show "No Dark No Light," at Rue die Faubourg Saint-Martin.

We loved the parade strong, linear collection with a color intensity sufficient to light the darkness.

Anntian's adoration and fascination of Nature leads us to the wonderful aesthetics of plants, leaves, flowers and blossoms. Structural, visual and haptical Beauty of leaves, the diversity of their “ornamental”, geometrical arranged surfaces within the almost “technical”, geometrical constitution of blossoms show the importance of elementariness, to sense the origins of Beauty and Meaning of things. Organic, flowery Patterns go along with technical geometrical elements as in Botanics and Nature. Fabrics show arrangements of leaves, surfaces of them in either geometrical order or natural ways and microstructures. The selected materials offer a variety of haptics: Earthy silk, fluent viscose, harmonic cotton,... all in colours of vanilla, chlorophyll, basic black and creme, cinnamon, washed out bright neon yellow, roseate, peach...
