The Ligament print, from the Henrik Vibskov SS12 Panopticon and on collection, is a handmade print that was inspired by the children's book illustrations, Clockwork Orange. Henrik Vibskov is this year recommended for the nomination in the 2 categories, DANISH DESIGNER OF THE YEAR and DESIGN EVENT OF THE YEAR at the Danish Fashion Awards 2012.

It's hosted by DANSK and every year Uffe Buchard and Kim Greenaa choose a new female host and this year it's Lene Nystrøm, who is the female lead singer in the danish pop-band Aqua.

SPRING DRESSES FROM BIBI GHOST

The inspiration for the SS12 "MOTHER" collection comes from the exhibition 'Mother and Child' by Louise Bourgeois. The exhibition awoke the interest to play with and explore the different relationships between mother and child.

The Bibi Ghost SS12 "Mother” Collection plays with many different roles of a mother and child. For example ribbons are used to symbolize a mothers sometime suffocating love. Enjoy the great draped and curly dresses in strong colors like purple, black and coral red. All styles are with great details like asymmetric neckline, waterfall sides and cut out shoulder details.

CPH+NYC: NEW ARRIVALS FROM WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK

Belgium born Walter Van Beirendonck studied at the esteemed Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where he developed his own aesthetic that fuses art and ethnic influences. Launching his first collection under his self-titled label in 1983, his big breakthrough came in 1987 where at the British Designer Show he was presented as of the influential 'Antwerp Six'. Walter Van Beirendonck's collections draw on influences from art, music and literature and reflects strong and unique cuts with a daring use of graphics and color.

IMPRESSIONS FROM PARIS WOMEN'S FASHION WEEK AW12 - PART 1

Follow the impressions of the Henrik Vibskov Boutique' buying team during the recent Paris Women's Fashion Week AW12. First stop on our tour was the Chalayan Show "No Dark No Light," at Rue die Faubourg Saint-Martin.

We loved the parade strong, linear collection with a color intensity sufficient to light the darkness.
